The third One Day International against West Indies was held at Pune. Unfortunately, India lost the match by 43 runs but the Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored 107 runs against the West Indies and became the first Indian cricketer as well as the first captain in the world to hit three consecutive ODI centuries. It was Virat Kohli’s sixth ODI century of 2018 till now.

Sunil Gavaskar on Chase Master Kohli said, “Most batsmen who score big when batting first when the flow is on and there is little pressure, fumble when batting second and the scoring rate is at the back of their mind every single delivery. This is where Kohli is special for it is in big chases that his full repertoire of shots is seen and the way he paces the innings,”.

He further added that when rating batsmen it is how many runs they get in a big chase or in the knockout stages of a tournament that should be the main criteria. Kohli is on top there and leaves everybody behind in his shadow.

The ODI series is now tied by 1-1, with two ODI matches left. Fourth ODI will be played in Mumbai on 29th October followed by the fifth and last ODI in Thiruvananthapuram on November 1, 2018. For Live Cricket Score and updates on India vs West Indies, stay connected with
