The rising and emerging player of Afghanistan Cricket Team Rashid Khan performed very well in Asia Cup 2018. The 20-year old Afghan Cricketer, Rashid Khan had a passion for cricket since when he was a child.

Colin Ingram said that Afghanistan is blessed with a couple of really good leaders that they have seen in this tournament. Rashid Khan being a young guy and someone that he has played with and he really enjoyed his company.


Colin Ingram further added that one could see how well their players have responded to him and his leadership ability. So, he has no doubt in my mind that if Rashid Khan is in a leadership position in any team he plays in, they will be in good stead. So, that is great for Afghanistan Cricket Team going forward.


Ingram concluded saying “I’ve enjoyed watching the Afghanistan National team and the spirit with which they play the game. They are very passionate and even if you see on the field, they shy at the stumps often, they stay sharp in the game, which is massive for cricket going forward in Afghanistan.”
