In the Asia Cup 2018, India vs Pakistan match, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya got injured and is carried on the stretcher off the field. He is striving to restore his full fitness. As Hardik Pandya is on road to recovery, his brother Krunal Pandya has been named in the T20I squad for both Windies and Australia series.

Though Krunal Pandya has been picked in the Indian squad for the shortest formats earlier but now as Hardik is suffering from injury and is not recovered completely provided a chance to his brother to feature in the playing XI.

On Twitter, Hardik Pandya tweeted and congratulated his brother on being picked in the national team. His tweet read as, “Congratulations on making it to the Indian team bro! Proud of you and love you, @krunalpandya24!”.
